With the increasingly alarming statistics of plastic entering the ocean (claims of 8 million pieces daily) simple, smart, proven solutions like LittaTrap® have a vital role to play in the education, prevention and capturing of plastics and other litter from urban areas. Enviropod continues to collaborate and work with universities, researchers and other proactive stakeholders, to understand the problem and continue to develop smarter solutions.
2021 has been another challenging year of growth with COVID-19’s continued effects being felt across the construction, manufacturing, and logistics sectors. Looking back on the past year we have enjoyed some great successes across USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, with our Enviropod “LittaTrap” increasingly being recognised as the leading catch basin insert to tackle trash, plastics and other pollution from urban stormwater runoff. Our strong focus has been on specification and supply of our high quality, new generation insert to California’s regulated market and additional focus on protecting the Great Lakes critical but threatened ecosystems.
We would also like to warmly welcome our new Distribution Partners GeoSolutions providing LittaTrap® across the states of Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Arkansas, we are excited about the new opportunities working together in the upcoming year.
