PROJECT CHALLENGE:

Traditional end-of-pipe oil and grit separators (OGS) require all stormwater flows, regardless of pollutant concentration, to pass through a single downstream device. This often leads to oversized infrastructure, higher capital costs, and accelerated maintenance requirements, particularly when exposed to high volumes of gross pollutants.

The project required an efficient, compliant, and cost-effective solution that could deliver could deliver 80% TSS removal of the ETV (20-1000μm) PSD of water quality performance without using a downstream OGS in addition to the catch basins already required on the project.

SOLUTION:

The EnviroBasin™ is an advanced water quality inlet that is ETV certified to Oil & Grit Separator (OGS) performance with the use of flow modifying components and the proven power of LittaTrap™ inlet filter. This all-in-one system incorporates a modified LittaTrap inlet filter, in addition to other flow modifying components, to capture 100% of gross pollutants and enhance the capture of sediment and hydrocarbons directly at the source.

ETV-verified and compliant with Canadian Oil and Grit Separator standards, the EnviroBasin™ replaces conventional catch basins while delivering significantly improved water quality performance.
