The EnviroBasin™: Protecting natural habitats, reducing pollutants, and extending bioretention system life at Liberty Crossing.
In this green infrastructure case study, the Liberty Crossing Subdivision in London, Ontario, required an effective stormwater management solution to protect a nearby protected forest from urban runoff. To achieve this, EnviroPod™ EnviroBasin™ technology was implemented for advanced pretreatment of stormwater before it entered the bioretention system. This solution successfully reduced Total Suspended Solids (TSS), minimized maintenance, and preserved the surrounding natural ecosystem.
With its compact, cost-effective design, the EnviroBasin™ ensured optimal water quality while meeting environmental and regulatory requirements. This project showcases how innovative stormwater management and solutions can protect sensitive environments and enhance urban developments, protecting green spaces in subdivisions.
