Alongside the trash, sediment and gross pollutants our products capture every day, one plastic problem sits especially close to our mission: pre-production pellets, known as nurdles. These small, lightweight pellets are the raw material behind almost all plastic products, and their size and buoyancy make them notoriously easy to lose during handling, transport and storage, and just as easy to wash straight into stormwater drains.
As proud supporter members of Operation Clean Sweep®, the global initiative helping the plastics industry work toward zero pellet loss, we work directly with manufacturers to help them get there. Our LittaTrap™, fitted with a dedicated nurdle liner, gives sites a practical way to capture and contain pellets in stormwater catch basins before they travel any further.

Catch basin inserts like the LittaTrap™ with nurdle liner are one of the most straight forward pieces: modular, easy to retrofit, and simple to inspect and maintain, so sites can start capturing pellets without reworking their drainage network.
